Röcken near Leipzig is the birthplace of Friedrich Nietzsche. Here You can find his grave. A worthy memorial place with an extensive exhibition is missing. In 1994 the stable next to the parsonage has been transformed into a provisional museum. The museum, which is the result of the enthusiasm of some Friends of Röcken, is to be finally reconstructed in 2001. In order to support this development financially, we brought Friends of Röcken into being. After the success of this first central project we want to support purposefully further projects, to remember Friedrich Nietzsche.
